Senior Systems Analyst and Third Tier Support Engineer

  • Provide local support to the LFG local office, maintaining desktop computers, network, and servers, in addition to providing 3rd tier support to the LFA helpdesk with issues escalated from 54 other field sites.
  • Field Storage/Backup infrastructure development EMC/Avamar System, Development and Support (2005 to Present) – Manage, deploy and maintain the EMC Avamar central storage system’s creating Tracking and documentation plans to optimize deployment, the project was delivered on time and within budget.
  • Created a rapport with vendors that allowed additional pressure to perform while maintaining a positive team relationship, establishing a reputation for leadership.
  • In 2008, migrated to a new Avamar system due to my concerns on product support and had recommended to the storage team that Fort Wayne would be a more stable and cost-effective location. Successful implementation of the new Avamar system in Fort Wayne, transfer of all data from the two old systems in Hartford.
  • In 2011, successfully completed implementation of the new IP Assignments on the Avamar system, successfully moving all three grids to the new network with different subnets with minimal downtime. I continued to monitor the system for performance, space and hardware health. In addition, I implemented a new system that will allow out of band access to respond quicker to an outage if it should occur.
  • CRM Web vendor performance evaluation (2004 -2005) -- Provided detailed performance testing on 2 levels, the local LAN with the Test CRM platform and the WAN based testing to the same test CRM platform. Partnering with ATT on strategies and methods of collecting performance data and analyzing that data to provide short and concise reports to the rest of the CRM team. I established benchmarks for acceptable performance with CRM.
